I've already ordered one m8 and i think they are either nearly or out of stock due to demand so be quick.This coral is very rare but incredibly beautiful which is why it's so expensive.This is due to blue crystals that form in the coral and flourese.It's not an easy coral either and a slow grower.A m8 has one which he also bought of reefworks ages ago and it seems to shine like a neon blue tree.
I've only ever seen this for sale once in a LFS and it was £95 for a 3 inch piece.

I know - I will be getting some soon I wanted people to know as this is propagated stock which has much more of a chance of surviving than imported stock.

Got my coral this morning.Acclimatised it and it's expanded and looking really nice and healthy.Only about an inch high but bonus is there are 2 of them growing on the plug.

I would let them grow for a good few months before any fragging occurs - how were they packaged?

This particular coral goes really fast.That's why reefworks limited orders to only one per customer.
The packaging is excellent.The coral is growing on the top of a hollow plastic plug upside down, secured in polysterene ,which can be put into a liverock hole or in my case i milliputed it to the side of a rock.
Also got a freebie.A nice big aiptasia is attached inside the hollow bottom of the tube.Noticed it extending out earlier.It won't last long in my tank as my pair of peppermint shrimps will be fighting who gets it first. Very Happy

Arrived today,it's a lovely looking coral.Decent size aswell..
Yeh no problem,i will stick on here when i do.Only problem i had was when i took out my purple monitpora digitata.I broke off the tips.Crackin size of a frag.Good bit tho does anyone have any other monti's they could swop for a piece of this????
