promotion..

Hi guys.

i think we need a little promotion.. anyone got any ideas?

posted a link to here on one of the other forums with the mods permission so far see if we can get a few people over and interested. Will try other places and I notice my LFS is on here (Blu)..

Hi Ray, i agree we do need some form of promotion lol!! Im working on it right now and im coming up with a few ideas, can anyone else on the forum come up with any ideas on how to promote the site??

Hopefully we can get more promotion through the search engines if we can get all the meta tags etc sorted for the site.
I will be putting some fragging guides on here in the next week or two so that should also bring in some traffic.
We could do a mailshot to the current members once we get a few frags listed.

All great ideas!! Im in the middle of putting a mailshot/letter out to the members anyway so i'll include something about all the new frags coming online, maybe i should make it a monthly newsletter so it reminds people were still here!!

have you guys tryed putting a post up on ultimate reef?

i know they have rules about not promoting compertition against the sponsers but it you promote the SWAP side of things and the mods let the post stay you would get ALOT of exposure,

Thanks pinkpony, i did try them awile ago when the site was launched but had no look with them!! I have registered this site so it appears on the search engines, however it can take a few months before it gets picked up by them, but when it does get recongised by the search engines, then we are there forever so there will always be the chance that we appear!!

the best type of promotion is word of mouth. we need to get on the forums and tell everybody about this site.

it's certainly got a lot more messages lately..

got some more fragging to do.. hopefully get some more stuff up next week now works calmed a little. Got some mushies I need to get out for a member on here (i've not forgotten about you honest)..
